TBL offseason moves v2
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JTBF81</b></div><div>Oh I agree, and I pulled for them against the Pens, thought they could take it. They had/have some overpriced guys, but a good prospect pool so hopefully, they will turn it around sooner rather than later. I didn't love the Hertl trade(thought they'd get more), but they seem to be on the right track. Tampa I'm sure would pay a 4th or so to move Sheary, but not both. Jeannot only has one year left so I'm sure Tampa could get something positive for him, even if just a mod round pick.</div></div>
I don’t doubt that!
I am looking forward to seeing what Grier does with cap space. Team is not ready to really start going for it so I kind of want to see us take on some bad contracts, one or two years max and get a bunch of draft picks or prospects to take them on.
Trying Really hard to be patient with this rebuild because the longer we plan it out and the more high draft picks we get the better off we’re gonna be

They need guys like him and Kunin around to be leaders</div></div>
Ok…. But that doesn’t change his value. If we traded him a 3rd is likely the best bet.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JTBF81</b></div><div>Nah, been a fan since the team started. The Sharks failed to win when they were good, and now they are cellar dwellers. Maybe next time they get good things will be different(one can dream)! As I mentioned in the preface to this lineup, the trade.destinatuons didn't matter as much, but the values were reasonable.</div></div>
Ok fair, but sharks were good for 20 years and yes I felt Wilson wasn’t quite the Gm to get them over the hump but they had a good run and needed this rebuild

I feel the same about Liljegren, like him… but not for Zetterlund.
And Sturm for a 3rd is more reasonable honestly but sharks can’t retain.

Must be hard to recognize a rebuild cause you guys have never been through one or drafted high in the draft!
Oh wait you have and it wasn’t that long ago. So you must just be a band wagon fan!

San Jose Hockey Now
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>RecycleShark</b></div><div>In fairness to Sheng and Keegan they problably wouldn't recommend making all of their suggested off season moves, just some of them. I think their consensus adds were DeMelo and Joshua. They also wanted to trade for Yanni Gourde, who Sheng views as a cap dump but from what I've read, Seattle was turning down offers for him at the TDL.
We should play the young guys but also make them earn it and not set them up for failure. Seemed like Thrun might have been rushed into the NHL last season.</div></div>
Agree but that should mean he should be ready this upcoming one

If he is near PPG again yes if not more a 2nd, and that’s likely a latev1st to a good team with maybe paying a 3rd team a 3rd to retain

I wouldn't put Bords and Gush on the same line.
Like the Roslovic signing.
If Yakemchuk or Jiricek were available at 14 would you take one of them over Eiserman?
Nice drafting a Center, Winger, LD, RD, goalie</div></div>
Think Eiserman is too tempting and we have time to get that big offensive RD
Thanks! Btw
And Montour it the biggest “hopeful” on this post.

We won’t be good next year and attendance will suck, this is a lot of money spent on a bad team and not giving Thrun Embersom Gushchin and Bordeleau a solid chance seems asinine

However, at least with Debrusk I can be pretty confident that a team like EDM could find room for him in their top-6 if his goal was to increase his value while also still likely getting his 3 to 4mil.</div></div>
Fair! And it doesn’t have to be Debrusk, or even a signing it could be a trade, the cap hit and 1 year deal is what I’m after and need for the potential TDL move for draft capitol

Hopeful plans for the future part 1
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SupremeBone</b></div><div>Debrusk should be looking for term (which he'll likely get at around 4 to 4.5mil) and I can't imagine Montour choosing to go to a team in the basement. Roslovic is more of a possibility as he'll likely be seeking to sign somewhere with opportunities to play in the top-6 and I don't see many teams offering him 4mil.</div></div>
My idea here is Montour gets offers for 3-5 years only by contenders and with Celebrini a huge amount of cap
Space and securing the long term deal he wants plus joining a team with a top 5 prospect pool that he could sign just like Hamilton did with NJD and he gets to be a part of their rise to contention.
Debrusk miscalculates the FA market and winds up with lack of good options and opts for a top 6 staple roll to try and increase his value.
I’m not saying this is a slam dunk option, I’m saying I’m hopeful sharks can make these kind of deals

I’ve seen a lot of Eiserman Hate and a lot of rankings dropping him! And no one thought Musty was going to be there at 26 either!
Personally I want Parekh, Yakemchuk, or Jiricek at that spot… but it’s hard to pass on Eiserman’s shot.
